Using the same techniques and equipment professional athletes use, ASI has developed individual and team programs for high school and college athletes to improve their explosive speed strength and power. ASI has had great success training athletes from University of SC, Clemson University, Furman University, North Greenville University, CESA, ELITE Volleyball, ELITE Soccer, MLB, NBA as well as individual athletes from virtually all high schools in the area.
The Acceleration Program trains athletes to improve:
- First-step speed
- Balance
- Multidirectional agility
- Coordination
- Top end speed
- Functional power
- Flexibility
- Mechanics/technique
- Muscular endurance
- Linear and lateral speed
- Reaction time
- Functional strength
The Acceleration Plus Program aims to improve all of the above while also:
- Increasing range of motion in joints
- Increasing muscular endurance
- Improving connective tissue response
- Decreasing chance of injury from inadequate preparedness and/or fatigue
- Developing core strength
- Strengthening ligaments/tendons around joints to prevent injury (in the pre-puberty athletes)
