Want to Get Bigger? Avoid These 7 Mistakes Skinny Guys Make Trying to Bulk Up!

If you’re here because you want to go from skinny to muscular, you’ve come to the right place! I know exactly how you feel. I was there too, and I’m here to tell you that it’s not as hard as you think it is!

It’s true that most guys don’t realize that they’re making mistakes in their attempts to bulk up, and it’s true that most of these mistakes are made in the first month of your bulk, when you’re just getting started, and not in the second or third month when you’re in the thick of it!

But I’m going to tell you what I know, and you can use it to help you make your bulk last longer than the average guy’s bulk ever does!

Mistake #1: Not Eating Enough

Most guys who are trying to bulk up eat like crap for the first month, and then they eat like crap for the rest of their bulk, until they start to get tired and frustrated and they quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, make sure you’re eating at least a pound of lean protein a day, and try to eat a pound of lean protein every other day, if possible, so you’ll have a steady supply of lean protein to keep you going!

And don’t forget to eat lean protein with carbs, like a protein shake with a banana or a smoothie with some protein powder and berries!

Mistake #2: Not Drinking Enough Water

Most guys who are trying to bulk up drink water like they’re going to die if they don’t, and then they drink too much of it, and they get too dehydrated, and then they don’t want to eat as much because they’re so tired, and then they get frustrated because they’re not seeing the results they want, and they just quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, drink at least 64 ounces of water a day, and drink at least another 64 ounces of water every day you’re trying to bulk up!

If you’re just getting started, it’s probably a good idea to start with at least a gallon of water a day, and then increase it as your body gets stronger, but don’t forget to drink enough water to stay hydrated!

Mistake #3: Not Doing Cardio

Most guys who are trying to bulk up don’t do any cardio, and then they get tired and frustrated and they don’t want to eat, and then they quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, cardio is one of the best things you can do to help you get bigger and stronger, so do it!

Just make sure you’re doing cardio for at least 45 minutes a day, and preferably more if you’re a beginner!

Mistake #4: Not Doing Enough Sets

Most guys who are trying to bulk up just do a few sets, and then they get tired and frustrated and they don’t want to eat, and then they quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, do at least 5 sets per muscle group, and do as many sets as you can every day, so that you’ll be able to keep growing!

Mistake #5: Not Doing Enough Volume Training

Most guys who are trying to bulk up don’t do enough volume training, and then they get tired and frustrated and they don’t want to eat, and then they quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, do at least 2-3 heavy weight sets per muscle group every day, and do as many sets as you can, so that you’ll be able to keep growing!

Mistake #6: Not Doing Enough Stretching

Most guys who are trying to bulk up don’t do enough stretching, and then they get tired and frustrated and they don’t want to eat, and then they quit!

Don’t do it!

Instead, do at least 2-3 sets of static stretches every day, and do as many sets as you can, so that you’ll be able to keep growing!

Mistake #7: Not Eating Enough Protein

Most guys who are trying to bulk up don’t eat enough protein, and then they get tired and frustrated and they don’t want to eat, and then they quit!
